Access the Citations Finder Tool and log in to the platform.
Enter the name of the client or competitor for whom citations need to be identified.
Select the search criteria (name, name plus phone, name plus address, name plus website, name address phone).
Use one credit for each search performed.
Review the generated files which include citations found by the search and a list of 100 citations.
Analyze the citations found by the search to identify relevant backlink opportunities.
Register the business in the identified citation websites that are critical for backlinking.
Compile a list of top five competitors and repeat the search process to gather more citation opportunities.
Download the CSV file for further analysis and tracking.
Tips for Efficiency:
Prioritize registering the business in Citations websites that are indexed by Google and considered relevant for the business name and address.
Create an Excel sheet to track all identified citations and prioritize registration based on relevance and competitor analysis.
Utilize the tool repeatedly to continuously improve backlinking strategies and enhance search engine rankings.
Cautionary Notes:
The tool currently works only for businesses with a physical address.
Each search deducts one credit, and users receive 50 credits per month.
